Darlington Wines is bringing a range of Australian wines into the UK from Queensland’s oldest winery.
The family-owned Ballandean Estate is also the largest winery in the region and it has been producing wines there for over 70 years.
The range will initially consist of a Shiraz, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and a Cabernet Sauvignon. A Sylvaner late harvest and an oak-aged Chardonnay are likely to follow later in the year.
Tim Abraham, Darlington’s commercial manager, said: “They offer 18 wine styles in all, excelling in both quality and presentation. Their wines have picked up scores of awards around the world.”
