Quorn has announced the launch of two new SKUs to its product portfolio, Salt & Pepper Tenders and Cumberland Sausages.
The Quorn Salt & Pepper Tenders (rsp: £2.85) are coated in a Chinese five-spice and salt & pepper seasoning inspired by a “takeaway classic”.
Each pack will include six pieces which are high in protein, a source of fibre and low in saturated fat.
“Our focus in 2025 is on making meat alternatives a truly positive protein choice as we bring more shoppers into the market,” said Gill Riley, consumer director at Quorn Foods. “Our Quorn Salt & Pepper Tenders will do just that.
“They’re an easy entry point into the category as they allow shoppers to create a delicious and healthier version of their favourite takeaway at home with a simple swap, that’s also better for the planet – what’s not to love?”
The SKU was described as a “natural extension” to the brand’s frozen Takeaway range, which 400,000 consumers buy from every year.
“The range performs incredibly well with both pre-family and family audiences, it’s proven to bring new shoppers into the category, and it also keeps them coming back for more,” Riley added.
The Takeaway range also includes Quorn Crunchy Fillet Burger and Quorn Spicy Buffalo Fillets.
The Tenders will launch in Waitrose from 2 March, followed by Asda and Morrisons from 14 April.
April will also see the launch of the Quorn Cumberland Sausages (rsp: £2.60/336g) into the freezer aisle.
The sausages, which have a “deliciously peppery flavour”, are high in protein, low in saturated fat, a source of fibre and “extremely versatile”.
“We know cumberland is one of the top-selling flavours in meat sausages, so we wanted to tap into these rapidly growing occasions and bring even more variety and versatility to our range, with a flavour typically seen in the meat and chilled aisles,” said Riley.
“Our new Quorn Cumberland Sausages provide families who are looking to reduce the amount of meat they eat with a really simple swap, which can be enjoyed by all the family at any time of the day.”
Quorn’s Cumberland Sausages will be available from 14 April in Asda and Morrisons.
