Radnor Hills has added a carbonated range to its GI Fruits soft drinks brand to appeal to consumers who like a bit of fizz.
GI Fruitades will be available in the same flavours as the still GI Fruits range, in blueberry, orange, apple and lemon & lime. Packaged in 330ml silver bottles, it has an rsp of 49p.
Radnor Hills is expanding the portfolio following increased popularity of the GI diet among consumers. The drinks, which are made from carbonated Welsh mineral water and natural fruit juice, are under 55 on the Glycaemic Index, which Radnor Hills said meant they offered a sustained energy source and avoided the feeling of lethargy that often occurs from drinking high sugar drinks.
The drinks contain no artificial colours or sweeteners, the company added.
