Reckitt Benckiser, the company behind Cillit Bang, Harpic, Vanish, Veet and Finish, has promoted senior vice president for developing markets Amedeo Fasano to executive vice president for supply chain.
Fasano replaces Alain Le Goff, who is to retire next month. Le Goff joined the company 23 years ago as industrial director in France and then Germany. He then became the group's logistics director, before
becoming executive vice president of supply.
Le Goff also played a major role in driving the household, health and personal care company's gross margin performance to one of the highest in the industry through its cost-saving programmes Squeeze and X-trim.
Fasano, who replaces Le Goff on the executive committee, joined the company in 1997 as supply director for Italy and has held supply leadership roles in the US and Europe.
