The maker of BacoFoil has launched a 100%-recycled version of the roll to meet demand from green shoppers.
BacoFoil 100% Recycled consists of foil that has been made from recycled aluminium foil, water-based ink on the packaging and a cutter made from reinforced recycled material.
Brand owner Baco claims the foil performs to the same high standard as the rest of the BacoFoil range.
"With increased consumer awareness and education on the ethical and environmental issues surrounding fmcgs, Baco felt it was important to listen to consumers' concerns and act," said Casper Gorniock, Baco's marketing manager. "We wanted to offer consumers the opportunity to do their bit for the environment."
The new foil will be available across retailers from 20 July (rsp: £1.09).
