Red Bull is gearing up to add a Tropical flavour to its Editions portfolio.
The new SKU - already sold in the US, Canada, Austria and Germany - is set to roll out across the UK this March and will join the range’s existing cranberry, lime and blueberry variants. Packaged in distinctive yellow cans (rsp: £1.19/250ml), the drink will also be available in price-marked packs and four-can multi-packs.
Red Bull Tropical is the first NPD for the brand in the UK since its Zero Calories debuted in the first quarter of 2014 – Red Bull’s Editions selection was unveiled in 2013.
“After a fantastic first year for Red Bull Editions, and the successful launch of Zero Calories, we are really excited to introduce this new variant to the existing range, providing our shoppers with a compelling choice of products,“ said Red Bull category marketing head Gavin Lissimore.
The Tropical launch will be backed by a social media campaign, alongside samplings for more than 50,000 consumers at events such as the Red Bull Air Race and Red Bull Soapbox.
