Don Cortez, another of the old established wine brands has been revamped.
Following the path of products such as Piat D'Or and Blue Nun, the Spanish wine has been given an extensive makeover by Grants of St James's.
To bring the brand up to date, the wine itself has been changed and the packaging has been modernised.
Brand manager Deborah Francis said: "Spanish wine has an 8% volume share of the UK market without any significant brands. As a name Don Cortez retains a level of consumer awareness and has been updated to appeal to the increasing number of consumers interested in Spanish wines."
She said 77% of Spanish wines in the UK were sold below £4 so Don Cortez, at £3.49, was well positioned to compete.
