Brewer SABMiller has reported a 16% increase in revenue and an 11% increase in lager growth for the year to 31 March.
Revenue had been driven by price increases and mix improvements, offsetting higher input costs, the brewer said in a trading update.
“The underlying performance of the group has been good and was at the upper end of management's expectations,” SABMiller said.
“The results have benefited from successful revenue management and enhanced productivity as well as favourable exchange rates in some of our major countries.”
