Gü Puds has announced the appointment of Richard Hollingdale as its new commercial director.
Hollingdale, a former trading director for Dairy Crest, joined the Noble Foods dessert brand in June from privately owned cheesemaker Joseph Heler, where he was sales & marketing director for almost three years.
He has more than 25 years’ experience in the food & drink industry, having also worked for businesses including First Milk, where he was commercial director, United Biscuits and Kellogg’s.
In his new role at Gü, Hollingdale will be tasked with exploring new opportunities to expand the brand’s reach across its core markets of the UK, France and Germany. He will be responsible for opening new channels and routes to market.
“Gü is a unique brand that has a first-rate emotional connection with its consumers,” he said. “It’s the market leader, but it has bags of potential to grow. My remit is to increase visibility and availability, so more people than ever can experience our indulgent range.”
