Reh Kendermann is adding a new premium wine, La Cetate Merlot to its River Route range of Romanian wines. The German company and Halewood International (see p66) are among a small number of businesses helping to resurrect the Romanian wine industry. Reh Kendermann has given financial backing to growers and winemakers in the country and director Jürgen Hoffman said: "We are certain Romania has the potential to develop an international wine style of its own."
