Russian Standard is mounting a £2.5m push designed to play up the vodka’s credentials as a “challenger” to mainstream brands.
It will include out-of-home ads in London, Manchester and Scotland and an “exciting brand activation platform” set to launch at music festivals over the summer.
Russian Standard is enjoying booming sales, seeing the value of its flagship vodka rise 8.2% (£10m) last year to £132m [Nielsen 52 w/e 9 September 2017].
It comes as supermarket value sales of vodka beat those of blended Scotch last year, winning the neutral tipple the title of Britain’s favourite spirit.
