Safeway has teamed up with waste disposal experts Canon Hygiene in a Medicines Are Not Child's Playawareness campaign. Customers will be encouraged to return unused medicines to their local Safeway pharmacist, who in partnership with Cannon Hygiene will ensure they are disposed of safely. The project will run across Safeway's 105 participating pharmacies and 113 creches. Information leaflets advising on safe storage of medicines, regular checks on expiry dates, and what to do in case of emergency will be available in both pharmacies and creches. {{NEWS }}
