Sainsbury's is capitalising on its association with TV chef Jamie Oliver by launching a range of fresh herbs the first in a planned series of Oliver-inspired new products.
The range of cut herbs includes staples such as basil, parsley and coriander as well as more exotic varieties such as lemon thyme and chervil. (Rsps: 75p - £1.19). Other more unusual herbs will be introduced every three months, such as lemon basil and marjoram from April to June and pineapple mint later in the year.
It is also bringing out a range of mini herbs called Seedlings initially in three varieties: purple basil, coriander and radish (rsp: 49p). All are available from April 25.
