Sainsbury’s shoppers can now buy the supermarket’s complete range of non-food via their smartphones.
The retailer launched the mobile version of its general merchandise shopping website on Friday.
The Click & Collect service allows shoppers to pick up non-food items ordered via their phones the next day from the store of their choice, providing the order is placed before 2pm.
“We know customers are increasingly looking to engage with us digitally and this new mobile shopping site is a big step towards Sainsbury's becoming a true cross-channel retailer,” said cross-channel director Tanya Lawler.
