Sainsbury’s has scrapped its long-running late delivery vouchers for online orders.

The chain, which received The Grocer Gold Award for Online Retailer of the Year last month, gave the £10 vouchers out to shoppers if their online orders did not arrive in their allocated time slot.

Sainsbury’s said on Facebook: “This was a promotional offer, which we intended to run for a limited time. We now deliver late to a very small proportion of our customers.”
