Sainsbury’s is launching a new on-the-go food range inspired by street food from around the world.
The range of salads, wraps and flatbreads contains flavours borrowed from countries including Thailand, India and Morocco.
Products range from a Jamaican jerk chicken wrap to a Pad Thai King Prawn and chicken salad.
“The new street food range offers all the vibrant flavours you’d expect while being convenient for busy people who are short on time,” said Paul Morgan, sandwiches and sushi buyer at Sainsbury’s.
The new range, which will launch on 29 April, will bear vibrant pink packaging and prices will range from £2.80 to £3.50.
The full range of 10 products includes four wraps, three salads and three flatbreads available at different numbers of stores.
