Sainsbury’s has launched its first-ever Easter ordering service for key lines of meat, fish and poultry.

The service allows shoppers to pre-order products from a brochure in-store and collect in 526 participating stores ahead of Easter Sunday (8 April). Lines include an easy-carve Welsh new season whole leg of lamb, an oak-smoked gammon and a By Sainsbury’s Scottish salmon side dressed with prawns and asparagus.

Sainsbury’s is also offering desserts through the service, such as baked blueberry and vanilla cheesecake.

The retailer decided to launch the Easter service following the success of its Christmas order-and-collect service.
