Sainsbury’s technologist Theresa Huxley has been honoured with a Worshipful Company of Fruiterers award.

The Fruit Culture Award was presented to Huxley at last week’s National Fruit Show for her outstanding contribution to the fruit industry.

“She has been instrumental in many of our developments on British fruit in recent years including our concept orchards,” said Sainsbury’s CEO Justin King.
