Sanpellegrino has added a trio of zero added sugar soft drinks.
The Nestlé Waters-owned brand has unveiled Sanpellegrino Zero in the UK.
Citing Kantar research, Nestlé Waters said over half of cold drink servings were now no or low sugar, but that taste remained important to nearly two-thirds of soft drinks shoppers.
Sanpellegrino Zero had been created “to offer the same delightful experience that fans of Sanpellegrino have come to love, but with zero added sugar”, said the supplier.
Available in Limonata, Pesca and Clementina, and Aranciata Rossa, the drinks offered “a flavourful refreshment with just the natural sugars of the juices”, it added.
The range has rolled out into Tesco from this month (rsp: £4.50/6x330ml) ahead of a wider rollout next year.
“Next year, we are unveiling a fresh new chapter of the Sanpellegrino story, with a new campaign that celebrates our passion for citrus fruits, exceptional craftsmanship, authentic flavours, and our inspirational Italian personality,” said Sanpellegrino brand manager Aryna Yersak. “As part of this campaign, we are thrilled to bring a bold innovation to UK consumers with the Sanpellegrino Zero Added Sugar range.
“This refreshing addition to our portfolio offers a premium specialty soda experience; crafted with authentic ingredients and zero added sugar.”
