Smoothie brand Savse has secured listings in up to 300 Spar stores across Northern Ireland.
The brand’s drinks – which are also available in Asda, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Boots and Co-op stores throughout the rest of the UK – will roll out to Spar stores from today (15 August).
Savse, which produces cold-pressed fruit and vegetable smoothies with no added sugar, saw its value sales grow from £331,000 to £2.5m over 12 months as the result of increased listings [IRI 52 w/e 2 January 2016]. Both its smoothies and juice ranges will be available from Northern Irish branches of Spar. The new listing follows the launch of the brand’s Purple Carrot juice in July, which contains 43% carrot juice and is on shelf in Harvey Nichols and Selfridges.
“We’re delighted to be launching our core range into Northern Ireland this week,” said Savse CEO and founder Guka Tavberidze.“We’re already the UK’s fastest-growing smoothie brand and see this as the natural next step in expanding our distribution and reaching more customers with our cold pressed, 100% natural range.
“We’re looking to educate as many people as possible on the benefits of high-pressure processing over heat pasteurisation,” he added, saying the brand plans to roll out into the rest of Ireland shortly.
