Fresh produce supplier Redbridge has secured two further contracts to supply fruit and veg to schools.
It will now supply schools in the south west and south east under the government’s School Fruit and Vegetable Scheme.
Redbridge already holds contracts to supply to schools in the north east, north west and West Midlands, and with the two new areas, the company will be supplying almost 4,000 schools with everything from apples and pears to kiwifruit and carrots.
Richard Clements, account manager, said: “The success of our existing contracts have been a major factor in helping us win these contracts.”
