Oriental Express Frozen Food is encouraging kids to get active by adding a new sporty range to its £10m Scooby-Doo frozen ready meals line-up.
The new Scooby-Doo Sporty Meals, which roll out in April, all feature Scooby enjoying different sporting activities, including cycling, swimming, rollerblading and football.
The range does not contain artificial flavourings, preservatives or colourings and all the meals have less than 0.3% salt.
There are four 275g meals in the new range - chicken pasta bake, sausage & tomato pasta, tuna & sweetcorn pasta and
footballs & laces (spaghetti with meatballs) - priced at 99p each.
Michaela Blunden, marketing director for OEFF, said: “Our Scooby-Doo brand currently leads the children’s frozen ready meal sector. As such, we have a responsibility to ensure our meals are nutritionally balanced. By promoting the benefits of taking part in everyday sports, we hope to encourage families to adopt a healthier lifestyle.”
