A soft fruit producer is celebrating after being named Scottish Grower of the Year by Sainsbury.
James Gray of Angus Soft Fruit has been supplying the retailer with strawberries since 1994.
Sainsbury said Gray had won the award for a number of reasons including having the foresight to move with the market in the early 90s and also help develop key new varieties.
Tony Sullivan, general manager for produce, said: “This award is a fantastic way to celebrate the success of our growers while encouraging innovation and excellence in the future.”
