The Glenrothes is releasing a Select Reserve whisky to offer fans another alternative as demand for its limited quantity vintages increases.
The Select Reserve is a non-vintage whisky chosen by The Glenrothes malt master. The selection is available on an ongoing basis, unlike the vintages, which are running out quicker than ever before, according to the company.
Ronnie Cox, director of The Glenrothes, said: “Select Reserve is the essence of all that is The Glenrothes in its early prime. Wonderfully versatile, it is delicious before or after a light meal and is a splendid conversation enhancer.”
The Glenrothes Select Reserve (rsp: £31) is on sale in Oddbins, Selfridges and specialist whisky stores in a traditional distinctive 700ml bottle with the malt master’s tasting notes on the front label - it has a character of ripe fruits, citrus, vanilla and hints of spice.
