Mizkan Europe has made a raft of senior appointments as it bids to grow its newly acquired Haywards and Sarson’s brands.
Kuniaki Tsukada has been named brand manager for Sarson’s. He has worked at Mizkan for 10 years, nine of which have been spent in its marketing division in Japan.
Kate Charman has been appointed brand manager for Haywards. She joins from KP snacks, where she was assistant brand manager for Hula Hoops.
Suzanne Dover, meanwhile, has been named head of NPD. She has more than 20 years’ experience in the food sector, including at Mars, HJ Heinz and SMA Nutrition.
Bruce Lambourne becomes head of technical. He joined Premier Foods in 2002 as technical manager.
Mike Parsons is appointed director of operations & supply chain. He was most recently at Weetabix, and worked at Heinz for 17 years.
“Through these appointments, we’ll not only be able to grow our sales of Branston, Haywards and Sarson’s, we’ll be able to breathe new life into our offering as a whole,” said Mizkan Europe MD Paul Shanahan.
