The honour of winning one of the first orders went to cheese supplier South Caernarvon Creameries and its export agent Singleton's Dairies.
Within 10 minutes of the show opening on Sunday, Singleton's sales manager John Carr had sold 500 cases of Cheddar prepacks to a Scandinavian distributor seeking product for a Danish multiple.
Singleton's also marked the show with the introduction of gas flushed, fixed weight Cheddar prepacks cut, unusually, from rounds of cheese.
Sold under the Cheese from Britain label, Carr said the new pack was attracting strong interest from international visitors.
