Croydon-based start-up Signal Brewery has launched a craft lager that is unpasteurised and unfiltered.
It uses water, malt, hops and yeast to create its 4.8% abv ‘all natural’ beer, which has a limited shelf life of 12 weeks.
Plugging into the ongoing trend for craft ale, Signal Lager’s format is a 330ml can with a dual seam that minimises ’oxygen pick-up’ to reduce the risk of spoiling.
Brand co-founder Dom Thorpe said: “Our lager is created with a commitment to producing authentic, natural lager that tastes as fresh from the can as it does at our London brewery.”
With an rsp of £2.35, the beer is available now from independent retailers including We Brought Beer, Beer Boutique, and Clapton Craft.
