Nisa-Today’s member Compass Cash and Carry celebrated its 25th anniversary this week with the official opening of its fully revamped depot.
The Glasgow-based licensed and impulse specialist has invested £100,000 to modernise the interior and revamp the exterior of the 35,000 sq ft depot.
Compass has developed a new order and delivery system to coincide with the opening, which it hopes will help broaden its customer network. Customers, who are mainly from the off-trade, can now order by phone or fax, and order assembly and direct delivery are now being offered.
Managing director of Compass, Anshu Chandra, said: “In improving and modernising our depot we are showing our customers that we are moving with the times.
“With the relaunch and promotional campaign, we intend to draw in new customers and reward existing ones with really great deals.”
