Dieters have a good excuse to snack on Weight Watchers’ new Savoury Biscuits.
Following the success of its Weight Watchers’ Cookie range, Walkers Shortbread is launching savoury biscuits in three varieties: Rosemary and Thyme, Sun Dried Tomato and Italian Herb, and Cracked Black Pepper.
It hopes they will appeal to health-conscious consumers, as well as those on the Weight Watchers programme. Each pack contains nine individual portions of two biscuits, which
have a points value of one. The biscuits can be eaten on their own or with toppings such as soft cheese or paté (rsp: £1.09).
David Guest, commercial and marketing manager for Walkers Shortbread range of Weight Watchers products, said: “The launch of our Savoury Biscuit range for Weight Watchers will add something fresh and innovative to the savoury snack category in the UK.
“There’s a flavour to suit the most discerning palate and the versatility of the product means it can be shared with friends, eaten as a single portion or dressed up for party canapés.”
