Richmond Ice Cream is increasing its Skinny Cow range with the launch of super premium half litre pots and multipack cones in January 2005.
Since introducing the brand exclusively in Asda in January 2004, The Skinny Cow has become the fastest selling brand in the healthy sector of the UK ice cream market, achieving a 13.5% value share from just one retailer (AC Nielson 12 weeks to 27 November 2004).
“The initial trial exceeded expectations,” said Kate Needham, marketing director at Richmond Ice Cream. “The brand was rolled out across other multiple retailer in October and we are confident these new products will further boost sales.”
The new embossed premium tubs will be available in three flavours and priced at £3.49 for a 500ml tub.
