Tesco is selling an exclusive figure for the Skylanders Giants game launched yesterday (19 October).

The chain is carrying Granite Crusher, one of the new series of larger figures that appear in the sequel to the surprise video game hit. He is a black version of the grey Crusher sold elsewhere.

Like its predecessor title, Giants uses a Portal of Power accessory attached to a video game console. Players can change their in-game character by placing a plastic figure on the portal.

The original game - launched late last year - was an unexpected hit. Sainsbury’s only stocked it online at launch, but will be stocking Giants in more than 300 stores.
