A new Slovenian mineral water hopes to stand out on crowded store shelves by offering a significant range of health benefits.
Donat Mg is claimed to alleviate muscle cramps, premenstrual tension and kidney stones thanks to its high magnesium content.
Half a litre of the water provides the daily requirement of magnesium, which helps to maintain normal muscle and nerve function, support a healthy immune system and keep bones strong. Unlike magnesium supplements, Donat Mg can be absorbed straight into the bloodstream.
The water (rsp: £1.85) comes from a spring in Slovenia and has been used by locals for more than 100 years. A marketing and PR campaign for Donat MG is being launched this month.
Meanwhile, another new water brand - Quench20 - is being brought to the UK from further afield.
The 600ml bottles (rsp: 49p) are filled from a natural spring in Dubai and use environmentally friendly paper labels.
