Locally grown produce is being given a boost by Somerfield stores.
Cauliflowers produced on the Isle of Thanet, Kent, and supplied by AV Produce are in the retailer's stores featuring a Produced in Kent' logo.
The logo is used exclusively by AV Produce for Somerfield and also features on Spring Greens.
The range was launched initially into the retailer's Margate store, but will be rolled out to all their stores throughout the course of the season.
The project is part of Somerfield's ongoing campaign to support local growers.
