Spar has revamped its own-label paper products range, including improvements to the quality of its loo roll.
The improvements, including upgrading from two to three-ply in both facial and toilet tissue, include two new varieties of facial tissue. Modernised cube and twin-pack pocket tissues will be available in shelf-ready packaging to aid merchandising options.
A £1.75 price-marked pack on the luxury soft four-pack toilet tissue has also been introduced to match competitors. “Paperware is very important in building shopper confidence of own label in convenience,” said Spar UK brand director Susan Darbyshire. “Spar’s own-label range is worth up to £5m at retail.”
