A Spar store in Powys has been snapped up by first-time retail buyers.
Railway station store Spar Caersws was sold by Christie & Co to new retailers Nigel and Ann Pugh who intend to continue running it as a Spar.
Previous owner Huw Jones, who had operated the site for the last 16 years, is now retiring from retail.
“There was a high amount of interest shown in this site, which demonstrates the strength of the market for convenience stores in South Wales,” said Christie & Co Cardiff business agent Jonathan Clements.
“We would like to congratulate Mr & Mrs Pugh on this excellent acquisition and wish them all the best for their future plans.”
