Sparkling wine producer Green Point has launched a rosé variant into the UK in time for the summer.
The Australian wine maker has brought out Green Point Vintage Brut Rosé 2002 as a new player in the booming rosé market. It also fits into the sparkling wine segment, which had strong sales last year.
CEO Dr Tony Jordan said: &"This particular prestige wine is from the 2002 vintage, which was the coolest and best since 1986.&"
The wine is described as having red berry fruit characteristics from Pinot Noir grapes. It will be available from next month in Oddbins, priced at £13.99.
