Suffolk microbrewer St Peter's is moving its beers into a multipack presentation box. The move has been prompted by its success in export sales, particularly in the US, but the pack will be available in the UK. Managing director George Wortley said the brewery had just sent the first containers in a consignment to Costco in San Diego and needed to take account of the longstanding US trend for multipacks. He said UK buyers have already expressed interest. The boxes can contain 12 500ml bottles or be used as gift packs with six bottles and a sweat shirt or T shirt. Wortley said: "Our old cases were simply shipping cases. They protected our products but did no selling for us." {{DRINKS }}
