Shoreditch startup Miiro has unveiled a range of vegan ice cream lollipops.
Made with coconut milk and nuts, sweetened with coconut sugar and grapes, and containing Himalayan pink salt and pea protein, each pop is coated in raw cacao and contains no refined sugar.
Available now from Whole Foods Market, three variants each promise around 166 calories per serving: Salted Caramel, Peanut Butter and Chocolate Hazelnut (rsps: £2.49/70ml & £6.49/3x70ml). The lineup is set to roll out to Planet Organic and As Nature Intended from next month.
The free-from premium lollies had been created with “nutrition front of mind”, said Miiro, which launched earlier this spring. “The handy on-the-go bars contain a careful balance of protein, carbohydrates and good fats. They are also rich in fibre.”
