Westons is to launch a TV advert for Stowford Press cider this summer.
Set to make its debut this week, the ad is an updated version of the brand’s 2016 spot, which follows the production process of the cider “from apple blossom to glass”. It has new music and a voiceover Westons claimed would “reinforce Stowford Press’ premium credentials”.
The commercial comes as part of a £2m investment in the brand. It is expected to reach more than 18 million of Stowford Press’ core target audience via stations including More 4, Film 4, Dave, BT Sports, Sky Atlantic and Sky Sports.
The cider would also partner with “key” cricket grounds during the summer to run branded bars, said Stowford Press brand manager Holly Chadwick.
Sales of Stowford Press grew 13.4% to £3.7m this year, on volumes up 2.8% [IRI 52 w/e 25 March 2017].
