Brothers Cider is claiming a category first by pouring its Pear Cider and Strawberry Mixed Pear Cider into stubby bottles.
The new multipacks (rsp: £5 and £8 respectively) consist of 10x250ml 'stubbies' in a fridge-ready, rip-open case the Somerset supplier claims will be ideally suited to picnics and barbecues.
"After being the first commercially available pear cider, we felt it was time to move the cider category on with a new pack format," said Brothers MD Matthew Showering.
Brothers collaborated with Morrisons on the development of the new format, which will be sold exclusively through the supermarket. Morrisons cider buyer Fraser Lovatt said early sales were "encouraging" following its arrival on shelves last week.
Brothers' debut £2m television advertising campaign is currently on air, while it also sponsors music festivals including Glastonbury.
