Sugro has partnered with a new material handling equipment manufacturer to offer members warehouse equipment and tools at reduced group pricing.
All 102 members of the buying group will have access to the dedicated account manager at Partington Engineering.
The company will offer them bespoke support on services and goods at a discounted group rate, including moving and storing items such as trolleys, steps, and cages.
“Partington Engineering are one of the premier manufacturers of materials handling equipment,” said Sugro business development manager Sue Hubber.
“They are a major supplier of trolleys across a variety of business sectors. Their extensive range of high-quality equipment will enable Sugro members and their customers to replenish and add to their essential everyday equipment from a competitive UK source.”
Sugro head of commercial and marketing Yulia Petitt added: “Our members, along with everyone else, are impacted by rising costs.
“We are constantly striving to find new ways of supporting our members so I have no doubt they will benefit from our latest partnership with Partington Engineering.”
In September, the buying group partnered with household cleaning supplier Rayburn Trading to improve members’ access to toiletries, personal care, and cleaning products at discounted prices.
The development is part of Sugro’s strategy to diversify across channels, with Petitt describing diversification as “one of the key pillars of Sugro Group’s commercial strategy”.
