Costcutter retailer Sunstar Group is to open its second store in Morocco next month.

The London-based c-store chain opened its first store in the country, a 3,000 sq ft shop in Marrakesh, where the new store is also located, in 2011.

Sunstar sold six of its 21 London stores to The Co-op Group last November to focus on its fledgling Moroccan business as well as Pakistan. It hopes to open new stores in the UK this year.
