Suntory Beverage & Food GB&I has hired Daniel Woodhead as supply chain director.
Woodhead, previously director of logistics for Asahi UK, will oversee the soft drinks giant’s supply chain.
He said he was “really looking forward to working with the team fronting into and navigating the many macro and geopolitical challenges facing many supply chains and making a positive impact for the SBF GB&I business and for our diverse range of customers”.
He will also sit on Suntory GB&I’s executive committee, where he would have “an important role in driving forward the company’s ambitious commercial and sustainability goals tied to the business’s Growing for Good vision”, said the business.
Suntory GB&I COO Carol Robert said the business was “thrilled to welcome Daniel to the team” and was looking forward “to benefitting from all of his supply chain expertise”.
He will split his time between the business’s London headquarters and Gloucestershire factory.
He is the second senior hire for the business this month: earlier in September, Suntory GB&I announced the appointment of Daniel Lander, a former COO of Nando’s Grocery International, as finance director.
