Superdrug has launched delivery within two hours from over 250 stores in partnership with courier firm Stuart.
The rapid delivery option has been added to Superdrug.com, where shoppers can order from the high street pharmacy’s beauty, personal care and toiletries ranges.
The launched has been timed to also offer on-demand delivery of Superdrug’s Christmas gift range.
Delivery costs from £5.50 within a two-mile radius of the selected store.
“We are always looking for new ways to evolve and innovate our omnichannel shopping experiences for our growing customer base,” said Superdrug e-commerce director Matt Walburn.
“Rapid same-day delivery, fulfilled by our incredible store teams and delivered by our partner Stuart, will fit brilliantly alongside our market-leading 30-minute order and collect in-store offering.”
Faster delivery has become a target for both Superdrug and Boots in the pandemic. Superdrug launched a same-day delivery service last year as a way to get supplies to customers in lockdown.
Boots launched delivery in as little as 20 minutes with Deliveroo from 14 pilot stores in August this year.
