Tyrrells is expanding its vegetable crisp range with multicoloured super-premium lines.

The Swanky Veg range, rolling out to Waitrose this week, has the same £2.99 price tag carried by the limited-edition packs of red, white and blue potato crisps Tyrrells launched in May to mark the Diamond Jubilee.

“The Jubilee launch was a great success and underlined the gap in the market for super-premium veg crisps,” said marketing director Oliver Rudgard.

The Swanky Veg range comes in three variants - candy-striped beetroot, red beetroot and blue potato orange sweet potato, golden beetroot, carrot & parsnip and taro, golden beetroot, purple carrot & parsnip.
