Waitrose has launched a new range of pre-prepared seasonal vegetables to make life easier for shoppers in the kitchen. The mixes are touted as ideal additions to soups, casseroles and stews. The range includes Vegetable & Bean Casserole, Irish Stew, Vegetable & Lentil Soup Mix and Soffritto Mix – and costs £1.39 a pack.

“The vegetable mixes are a great choice for home cooks wanting to make the most of autumn’s finest foods without spending hours in the kitchen,” said vegetable buyer Claire Young.
