Diageo Reserve’s posh gin brand Tanqueray has launched a duo of RTDs in glass bottles ahead of the summer festival season.
Tanqueray London Dry Gin & Tonic (6.5% abv) and Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla Distilled Gin & Tonic (6.5% abv) are available now as a 275ml single serve (rsp: £3) or in a 4x275ml pack (£10) in Ocado and Waitrose. The single-serve bottles are also available from Amazon.
The brand decided to blend its gin with a “premium crafted tonic” so customers could enjoy a “perfect Tanqueray serve every time”, said Rich Larkin, head of Diageo Reserve GB.
“As we step into the summer season, we’re confident that the Tanqueray and Tonic premixes will be the perfect addition to shopping baskets for occasions across the off-trade - including at home, picnics, barbecues, garden parties and festivals,” he added.
Diageo’s latest NPD follows Fever-Tree’s trio of new branded gin & tonic RTDs, which were rolled out in glass bottles last month. The tonic giant worked with London-based Thames Distillers to create its own gin for the launch.
