There is no escaping the fact that this has virtually no wine values. It may have a touch of oak on the nose and some peachy, ripe fruit character on the palate, but the impression is of a rather nasty sweet-sour fruit drink with an unpalatable finish. The problem is the lack of alcohol. This demonstrates the vital role alcohol plays in wine in giving body and balance. Without it, wine is reduced to this synthetic, unappetising drink. It may not be quite as bad as some of the first-generation low alcohol wines, but anyone in search of a clean-tasting, non-alcoholic, widely available beverage should to stick to water. My first reaction to this was that it was "diet", therefore to be avoided. The label was difficult to read and the blue used brings out the yellow in the liquid and makes the wine look like urine. The girls in the office liked the blue and thought the label was "nice". They thought the idea of diet was odd, as they don't avoid wine because of calories. Wine could be avoided due to alcohol, so may be the merit is as a low alcohol, tasty wine. But it tastes like watered down scrumpy. A good effort to do something different, but a poor product and an OK but nothing special design. As for the brand name, naff. Rating out of 25 9

It is rare to come across a product so comprehensively disgusting as this. There does not appear to be one redeeming feature. The label is insipid, uninspiring and virtually illegible. The liquid is just plain awful very manufactured, industrial, poorly structured and gutless. The price point is a disgrace far too high especially as the duty is lower on such a low alcohol product. Basically, Low/No Alcohol products, although a good concept, have struggled to make any significant progress to date and Sweaty Pillow, oops, Swaying Willow is unlikely to change that.
