Yorkshire-based Taylors of Harrogate has launched a new limited-edition Iced Coffee blend.
Meant to be served cold over ice, the blend is made with roast and ground Arabica beans from Central and South America, Africa and Indonesia.
The Iced Coffee (rsp: £3.49/227g) adds to Taylors’ limited-edition portfolio, launched in April 2014 with Allez Allez, and marks its first move into cold coffee. This is the second limited edition of the year, following the launch of ethical ‘women’s coffee’ Esperanza in January.
“Our new creation was born out of the insight that a lot of consumers reduce or stop drinking hot coffee during the warmer summer months,” said Carly Sunderland, marketing executive at Taylors.
“Iced Coffee creates a new occasion to drink coffee, providing consumers with a refreshing summertime alternative,” she said.
The NPD is 100% Rainforest Alliance certified, and will be available until September in Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Waitrose.
