Tennent’s has launched an export lager in Scotland in a bid to revitalise the premium lager category.

Tennent’s Original Export, which has rolled out to 2,000 outlets, joins Tennent’s Lager and Caledonia Best to become the third beer under the brand. The 4.7% abv brew is made with 100% Scottish Barley.

The brewer claimed the product outperformed a range of competitor lager brands in a Scottish blind taste-testing.
